Aa Battery Holder How Do I Build A Simple AA Battery Pack?
How do I build a simple AA battery pack? - aa battery holder
I have 4 AA NiCd or NiMH in a holder (Radio Shack 270-383) and connect two wires to each other positively and negatively. A decision on a DC (Radio Shack 274-1565) when the battery needs to be refilled, and the other to a DC-plug (Radio Shack 274-1567) for when I want to take advantage of their power. Will it work?

One AA battery (pronounced "ay-ay" or "Double A") is a kind of dry batteries commonly used in portable electronic devices. The power of alkaline batteries is 1.5 volts, from 1800 to 2600 H mA, while the battery output with variable frequency 1.25 V. The output of a AA battery is the same as that of a AAA battery, but AA Batteries provide electricity for a longer (the time when the largest). A single AA battery measures 50 mm long, 14.2 mm in diameter and weighs approximately 23 grams (1.97 x 0.56 cm and 0.81 ounces).
The capacity of rechargeable AA batteries will depend on the technology used. Nickel-cadmium (NiCd) AA with a capacity of 650 and 800 mA H are generally available, while over 800 to 1000 mA • H are rarer and more expensive. Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH AA) are h in various capacities from 1400 to 2700 mA ⋅
AA NiCd are usually of people or vehicles from other (relatively) high current-draw devices, where used NiCad outperform NiMH technology drive. AA NiMH batteries designed for highCurrent applications of GH are always available, the difference in construction and less able (1400-1600 mA • h) that cells of rechargeable NiMH batteries with higher capacity.

Sounds like a plan for me. 6 volts, I assume?
It will work well. What you describe is a simple parallel circuit. While the positive and negative lines, not touching, you should be very good. A word of warning, you must limit the load current with either resistance or current regulator. NiCd and NiMH batteries should be charged at 1 / 10 of your amp / hour capacity of 10 to 14 hours. Example: A battery of 2200 mAh AA should be 220 mA for approximately 12 hours. Also note that this package will be around 4.8 volts, while the 4 AA alkaline batteries give you 6 volts.

It's a little scary to me.
Get started the book in the electronics, which at Radio Shack for $ 5 or less used
Then with a multimeter and learn how to use it.
At the moment there is nothing in the socket, unless it first goes through a transformer, the shape of the voltage decreases. We can say that 250milliamps and 5 volts, maybe. After playing for his approval.
